Job Description

Carry out activities in the packing area, ensuring the highest quality product is packed, labelled and palletised to ensure customer requirements are met.

Duties and Responsibilities

PACKING

Descriptor:

Make sure the necessary equipment (trays, boxes, and shrink plastic wrap) is available before packing.
Verify that the machine has enough plastic in it.

Place sauces within trays and make sure the product is packed according to specifications and that the labels are positioned appropriately.
Keep an eye on the wrapper machine as the products are being wrapped, and take out any that need to be wrapped again.
Recognize certain machine control features, such as stopping and starting all safety devices.

Please promptly and effectively report any online faults that have occurred, are occurring, or may occur to the relevant operator, Team Leader, or Group Shift Leader.
Communicate with coworkers to maintain OEE% continuity and to ensure a smooth transition to the following shift.
Maintain a flexible work style and do appropriate substitute tasks as needed by the operator, team leader, or group shift leader.

If there are any broken bottles, cordon off the area and use the necessary cleaning supplies to sweep the area to keep it clean.

Respect the SOPs at ALL TIMES, perform tasks in accordance with GMPs and 5S methodologies, and take ownership of cleanliness and hygienic measures in and around the work space.
Respect all health and safety laws, making sure that PPE laws are followed while working in a secure workplace.
Make sure that all company quality, food safety, health and safety, and environmental regulations are fully followed.
